All Free people are referred as Master and Mistress.  The use of Sir or Ma`am is frowned upon. In fact some Masters may take offence to be called 'Sir'. <br>   </b> <p><b>2. All Free People have their nick capitalized as well as all slaves set their nick to be lowercase. <br>   </b> <p><b>3. If you don't know the gender of a Free Person, often doing .who or .ex<nick> can give you indication.'If' in the case this fails, alwayssssssss call them Master. If you are corrected, apologize profusely and ensure you don't make the error again. <br>   </b> <p><b>4. Even though slaves spoke in the first person in the books, in Lara slaves eradicate all words like 'I' and 'me'and speak in 3rd person. slaves are only permitted to use them if allowed by their Master Why? cause Men find it pleasing, and its not up to a slave to question it.  Use references to yourself like...this one, or this girl, or this slave or just simply use your name. <br>   </b> <p><b>5. a slave should not co-channel/talker. he/she will remain in one talker at a time. A slave is there to serve the Free, and 'all' of her attention is to be in the service of that talker. You cannot be attentive and give your 100% best efforts if you have to keep up with other talkers too. <br>   </b> <p><b>6. The proper way to beg entry into a room is in the karta position. Basically, this is...slipping to your knees, to bend at your waist. Then pressing hands far before you, with fingers splayed. A cheek or forehead must touch the ground/floor. Some girls press there lips in a gentle kiss. Then on a separate line, you beg to enter. <br>   </b> <p><b>7. Free People greet the Free with 'Tal <nick>' and the slaves with'greetings '. Slaves just say 'greetings Master/Mistress <nick>'. <br>   </b> <p><b>8. Never greet a slave before a Free Person or a Mistress before a Master. The order of greetings is as follows: <br>      a) the Free Person who allowed your entry <br>      b) Ubars/Ubaras <br>      c) Masters <br>      d) Mistresses <br>           * e) first girl if there is one. <br>           * f) second girl if there is one. <br>           * g) first boy if there is one. <br>           * h) second boy if there is one. <br>      i) the rest of the slaves. </b> <p><b>* It is protocol to greet these slaves before the rest. <br>   </b> <p><b>9. Permission to leave and go away from the keyboard for a moment is also necessary. To leave the talker completely, something like...'may girl be excused please, Masters?'  Same if you leave for only a few moments, you ask: 'may girl go afk for a few moments please, Masters?'  If you go afk (away from keyboard), type .afk This shows the other members that your not here, especially if a Free Person just enters. <br>   </b> <p><b>10. slaves do not own anything, not even her name. a Master may change it anytime they please. Why? cause it pleases them. They are Master, you are slave and by theory, they are always right. <br>   </b> <p><b>11. slaves always get the last word in a conversation. that being: "yes, Master" <br>   </b> <p><b>12. slaves are not permitted to touch money or any type of  weaponry. It can mean death if she does. If a Master gives a girl a coin, she carries it in her mouth.  The same if she is asked to retrieve a whip or anything else of a sort...its carried in her mouth. If a girl is to use a knife in her serve, she should ask the Master to cut it for her or ask if she is permitted to use a 'chained' knife. <br>   </b> <p><b>13.
